Blogging for Hippo

If you keep an eye on WooThemes people, you may have seen the Blogging for Benjamin competition that took place last year.

Basically, a few of us Woo people are going to try write a blog post, every day, for the next month. It sounds crazy – it sounds improbable, but it’s true.

We’d all love to blog more often but tend to be pretty lazy, so we figured an internal competition to see who could keep it up for a month, would force us to fight through the laziness and blog daily.

It’s going to be called Blogging for Hippo, in honour of the impending WooCommerce 2.3 releaseHandsome Hippo.

The Rules

  • It starts today. Right now.
  • It’s until Christmas, so the last post should be on the 24th of December.
  • Posts can be scheduled for the future, but not back-dated.
  • Posts must be at least 250 words.
  • Can be about anything.
  • Bonus Points! You should try include a GIF in every post.

There are no prizes, only pride for the winners.

People taking part

You can also follow along on Twitter with #bloggingforhippo!

So, I still have around 50 more words needed for this post, and there’s not much to say, so I guess I’d like to know – what would you like me to blog about? WooCommerce? Plugin Development? Life in Thailand? It’d be quite awkward if no one commented on this post saying what they want me to write, so someone, anyone, please just say something.

And now for the GIF, a reference to a favourite movie of mine:

Write a Comment

    • 1. Come to Thailand and want to start a business
      2. Realise it was the worst idea in the world
      3. Go do it in Laos
      4. Repeat
      5. Go home with no money 🙂

  1. Hi Bryce,

Thank you for putting up posts about Woocommerce here. I’d love to see you write more about WooCommerce community in Thailand 🙂
Or just your experience with Woocommerce is great!
